naturemary is a health technology company that has left a significant mark on the consumer market with their new and refreshing take on pain relief products. However, their products are not just an imitation of various oriental oils that are notoriously used for pain relief; founder and CEO, Sonia Mary Kalra and founder and company president Kapil Kalra, have created a solution that brings no pain, just relief.
Sonia has dealt with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) her entire life; the creation of naturemary was inspired to help others dealing with chronic pain and looking for relief.
PMDD is a condition that severely amplifies menstrual symptoms in women and can cause immense pain and psychological issues for those who experience it. Sonia was looking to create a remedy that she could bring to the market to address pain relief for all, and especially those who are dealing with difficult circumstances.
“It was for me because I was dealing with pain,” she says. “I think that was the moment naturemary was really born, because I was able to not just clean off the pharmaceuticals but really have a better quality of life with the products that I was developing for myself.”
Using her background in Biology as the backbone, the birth of naturemary’s product line hit the market in 2020.With their growing support, products such as Therapy Pain Relief Roll Ons, Headache Relief Roll Ons, skin care products, and even self-care products have become available through the naturemary website and retail stores.
“I think when we hear customers say that our products ‘have been life changing,’ or ‘I haven't found anything like this,’ that has the greatest impact on us,” Kapil Kalra says. “And I think that's really the biggest driving factor and motivator behind our brand, we are doing this to help to heal people.”
Undergoing the growth of the health technology industry, Sonia and Kapil Kalra are looking to take their next step with naturemary and create the change they want to see for their customers and themselves in the constantly changing environment they work in.
Sonia and Kapil have tirelessly worked on creating something useful and beneficial for all people experiencing different aspects of pain.
Sonia leaves us with this: “we are going to put Alberta on the map.”
